Staining Picnic Tables The staining of picnic tables on Saturday September 25th has been cancelled due to weather.
Water System The cisterns have run out of water and the water system will need to be shut down.
In order to provide water to those who do not have cisterns/access to water, enough water has been purchased to turn the on system tonight from 5:30-7:30pm and again in the morning from 7-8 am.
The amount of water is limited.
PLEASE USE THE WATER FOR ESSENTIAL USE ONLY. DO NOT FILL CISTERNS THIS WEEK USING THE WATER SYSTEM.
The system will not be able to run normally until the turbidity levels decrease. Levels may not decrease for a couple of days due to weather conditions.
The website will be updated when the conditions change.
Posted Sept. 22, 2021 at 5:30pm (This is updated when there is a change to the system).
Message Regarding the Water System
Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating with us. The water team has been trying desperately to make water but have been unsuccessful.
We have asked for conservation of water but our usage has doubled. We usually use 12-14000 gallons per day, but this week we were using 25000 gallons per day.
Filling cisterns has been one of the highest challenges. We are only at September 22 and there will be lots of time to fill your cisterns before cut off.
There are people at the park with no water and as a community we should be thoughtful of our other members.
Our water team will continue to try to make water. As soon as this happens the membership will be made aware.
Moving forward, we will be doing our best to provide water between 5:30 - 7:30 and in the morning then again in the evening from 5:30 - 8:00 in the evening. Hopefully this will allow those members who do not have cisterns to shower and fill jugs for cooking etc.
Thank you Diane Reynolds President, PPCOA

All participants will receive a prize. Please pick up your prize next Sunday from 10 am -11 am in front of the store where you turn in your rocks for the rock fairy.
Rock Fairy Look for her rocks around the Point and collect them. Bring your collected rocks to the area beside the store on Sundays between 10-11 am to pick up your treats.
One treat per person per week.
If you find more than one rock, please leave the rocks for others to find.
Store is Open Please be aware that Health Regulations still require that all persons wear a mask when in the Store. Even if you are now fully vaccinated, Regulations require you to wear a mask. Those running the Store who remind you of this are simply following the law and asking you to respect the Rules. They should not be receiving abusive treatment. We appreciate that COVID has been a challenge for everyone (including our not having a Store at all last year!!) but we can all follow the Directives for a little longer
Work along the Roadside There has been some concerns expressed regarding the digging and install of “cable” along our roads.
This is not an Association project. The company doing the work is contracted by an Internet company. If you have any concerns or questions please contact the County.
