The water system is running. However, it is inconsistent. There are times we are running on the cisterns.
Please continue to conserve.
Please do not fill up cisterns at this time or use water for other activities such as washing cottages, watering lawns, etc.

We used 37,200 gallons of water in 18 hours yesterday when we have been on a conserve water notice. The usual consumption on a weekend is approximately 20,000 gallons per day.
To those that conserved thank you very much. But with these numbers, we know there was overconsumption.
Conserving water is not filling cisterns, washing cars and cottages, lawns, and flower beds. When we ask for people to conserve it is so all our members can enjoy their homes. When we use this amount of water, it puts stress on our water team and equipment. Our water team basically had to live at the pump house trying to keep equipment cool and operational along with frequent testing to catch the first opportunity to start producing water.
Please be mindful when we are having to conserve. Thank you, Diane Reynolds President, PPCOA
Stairs to the Pumphouse Beach A big thank you to Rick Lewis, from the water team. Rick put the stairs in to the beach on Saturday, and monitored the stairs to ensure they were done correctly and safe to you. Over the winter, everything had twisted and moved.
If you see Rick around the Point, be sure to say thank you.
Rock Fairy The Rock Fairy is back this year! Look for her rocks around the Point and collect them. Bring your collected rocks to the area beside the store on Sundays between 10-11 am to pick up your treats. One rock per child may be redeemed each week.
Store is Open We are excited to announce that the Peacock Point Variety Store "Shipwreck Castoria" is open for business!
Darren Stone, our new store operator, has put a lot of hard work into the store and it looks great!
We look forward to meeting you over a coffee, enjoying ice cream and treats, or a delicious menu item.
Social distancing, mask-wearing, and safety standards apply to our facility. Please be aware that Health Regulations still require that all persons wear a mask when in the Store. Even if you are now fully vaccinated, Regulations require you to wear a mask. Those running the Store who remind you of this are simply following the law and asking you to respect the Rules. They should not be receiving abusive treatment. We appreciate that COVID has been a challenge for everyone (including our not having a Store at all last year!!) but we can all follow the Directives for a little longer
For your convenience and safety, a take-out window has been installed. Enjoy! Posted May 12, 2021
