Thank you for your participation in our Yard Waste Pilot Project! We are in our 2nd year of the pilot. Please show Haldimand County we need this service by continuing to use, or it will be discontinued. Yard waste 2019 collection begins Oct 21, 2019 to Nov 29, 2019. (on our regular garbage collection day) NO bag limit, as long as acceptable containers are used Place weeds, plant trimmings and leaves in PAPER yard bags NO PLASTIC BAGS
Bundle branches 1.2 m in length by 0.75 m in width
Note: At present, yard waste continues to be collected at curbside, when included in your total garbage bag limit of THREE bags. This material is not composted, but is disposed along with garbage. Items not accepted as yard waste:
Plastic bags, yard waste in plastic bags is NOT accepted
Kitchen scraps, grass clippings, rocks, dirt, sod, tree stumps, larger branches, flower pot/trays, wood and pet waste
These materials may continue to be disposed of at the Canborough Waste Management Facility
